Gabe Taylor, the younger brother of the late former Washington Redskins' great Sean Taylor, agreed to terms on a free agent contract with the Commanders after going undrafted.

After weeks of speculation, the Washington Commanders agreed to a deal with the city of Washington, D.C., to build a new stadium at the site of RFK Stadium.

The Commanders, then known as the Redskins, called RFK home from 1961-1996 before moving to Prince George's County, Maryland, in 1997 to the current Northwest Stadium. The Commanders building a new stadium in the District appeared dead for years when Daniel Snyder still owned the team.
