U.S. immigration agents made “demonstrably false” statements to local police during a traffic stop last month, potentially committing a crime in the process, a Utah mayor alleged in an email urging the agency to investigate its own officers.

Agencies in Utah responded to a traffic stop conducted by ICE. The agents claimed a detained driver swerved toward them, but the Unified Police Department of Utah said security footage contradicted those claims.

That is when Dylan Guenther struck. The Utah Hockey Club forward forced his way into the zone and sniped the puck into the back of the net, securing a 3-2 for his team Tuesday night at Delta Center just before the final horn.

Philadelphia acquired Andrei Kuzmenko, Jakob Pelletier, and two draft picks from the Calgary Flames in exchange for Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee on Jan. 30, but have not been able to field Kuzmenko or Pelletier in the lineup yet as the two are currently waiting for their visas to clear, allowing them to work in the U.S.
