CLEVELAND — Ball State senior Ally Becki took the basketball and slammed it at mid-court of Rocket Arena as time expired Saturday on a 65-58 win over Toledo in the Mid-American Conference women’s basketball tournament championship.

For the first time since 2009, the Cardinals are heading to the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament with their 60-52 win over Toledo to claim the crown of the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Tournament Champions.

The Rockets will face Ball State in the MAC championship game on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Rocket Arena in Cleveland.
