While the box score reads that the game’s deciding goal was scored by Colorado’s Nathan MacKinnon, it actually pinballed off a few members of the Stars before finding its way past Jake Oettinger and into the Dallas net. The own-goal gave the Avalanche a 5-4 lead in a game they’d win 7-4 to force a winner-take-all Game 7 in Dallas on Saturday.
