Some areas could see wind speed of up to 65mph. The alert is focused on counties Antrim, Armagh and Down. The Met Office said the strong and gusty southerly winds could cause disruption to transport and infrastructure. “A brief spell of strong and gusty southerly winds will likely coincide with rush hour on Friday,” it added.
