After a few weeks of preparation in Oxnard, Brian Schottenheimer and the Cowboys are looking to pass a key test.

The Brian Schottenheimer era officially gets underway as the Dallas Cowboys make their preseason debut against the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium Saturday at 6 p.m. CT. Both teams squared off in Oxnard at Cowboys training camp on Tuesday in a joint practice.

Much of the attention heading into last night’s game between the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams centered on how the offense would perform with Joe Milton playing under center for the majority of the contest and whether the defensive line could hold up against Los Angeles.
