According to Los Angeles County Fire Department officials, Jerry W. Guzman worked out of the Azusa station and served for more than 20 years.

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles County Fire Department is mourning the loss of one of its own. The department posted on social media over the weekend that active-duty firefighter paramedic Jerry Guzman had died.

Firefighter/Paramedic Jerry W. Guzman, a 23-year member of the Los Angeles County Fire Department, died Friday.
