A Kerr County community has voted in favor of new flood safety measures after severe floods devestated the area.

The Guadalupe River system has a number of dams, but they are downstream from Hunt, Texas. Many of these dams below Kerrville, Texas were built in the 1920’s and 1930’s, and they are in bad condition.
