The Chargers kick off their third preseason game of the season on Saturday, clashing with the crosstown Rams as they do every August.

Jim Harbaugh spoke to the press in his role as head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers and gave a confusing update regarding the undisclosed injury of a recently acquired teammate of Justin Herbert who has yet to take the field.

Justin Herbert will have an even bigger challenge in catching Dan Fouts, who sits second on the list with 43,040 yards.

Tuesday, the Chagers didn’t work Trey Lance in team drills at all, which seemed odd on the heels of his strong pair of preseason performances and (sort of) promotion on the team’s depth chart. Instead, all of the work behind Herbert went to Taylor Heinicke, who has had a rough start to his summer during training camp and the two exhibitions.
