The Boston Celtics were dealt two brutal blows in their second-round playoff series against the New York Knicks. Not only did they lose the series and were eliminated from the playoffs, but they also saw superstar forward Jayson Tatum go down with a torn Achilles.

The Boston Celtics already had many questions about where they would go this offseason before Jayson Tatum tore his Achilles. While his significant injury certainly changes a lot going forward, there are still some decisions to make this offseason.

One potential trade partner is the Sacramento Kings, who could have some interest in some of the players may make available via trade this offseason. Jake Fischer reported on The Stein Line that the Kings have their eye on Jrue Holiday,

The Boston Celtics will arrive at the 2025 NBA draft in possession of a pick in the first round (No. 28 overall), and another early in the second round (No. 32 overall). They will also have a few needs in terms of what they are trying to take care of via the draft.
