While promoting Netflix's The Electric State, The Russo Brothers spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about all things Marvel, even going back to when their agent called them about Captain America: Civil War.

With the Russo brothers coming back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the filmmakers reveal how much Avengers: Secret Wars will adapt the comics.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has used the characters we know and love from the comics which introduced them, and while some stories and plotlines have been familiar, the movies and shows have also been written in a way that keeps fans guessing.

Avengers directors Anthony and Joe Russo may currently be busy with The Electric State, but next up for them is the return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The directing duo will be helming Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, with filming due to begin next month.

After 2 Avengers films that were the 2nd and 7th highest grossing of all time, the Russos’ output has been disappointing in recent years.

Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars will feature any of Disney+'s Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes. While The Multiverse Saga hasn't yet featured any Avengers installments, that is about to change with Phase 6,
