Cape Cod could see two to three inches of snowfall on Thursday. The rest of southeastern Massachusetts, including the South Shore and South Coast, are expected to get anywhere from a coating to an inch of snow, said Bryce Williams, a NWS Boston meteorologist.

"How much snow is actually on the ground by the time the event ends is still kind of a big question mark, since there could be some melting as we change over from snow to rain on Saturday night to Sunday morning," said Robert Megnia, a NWS meteorologist.
