Android Authority spotted code strings that reference Adaptive Charging in the latest version of the Pixel Watch Management Service system app, though the feature isn’t yet available to use. It’s also unclear which Pixel Watch models might be supported, or when it will officially launch.

That’s why Google came up with Adaptive Charging as a solution. That feature helps preserve Pixel phones’ battery health by preventing overcharging. Now, it seems that the Adaptive Charging feature may soon come to Google’s Pixel Watch lines.

Thanks to a leak from Google’s chips division, we’ve been able to view and analyze documents that describe Google’s plans for a future wearable Tensor chip. However, the documents suggest this chip will be released in 2026 alongside the Pixel Watch 5 and not the Pixel Watch 4. This begs the question, what can we expect inside the Pixel Watch 4?
