Elijah Blue Allman, the 47-year-old son of music icon Cher, was reportedly found in a highly distressed state before being hospitalized for a suspected drug overdose over the weekend.

Allman has been open about his struggles with sobriety in the past, telling Entertainment Tonight in a 2014 interview that his drug addiction began before he was even a teenager.
