The New York Knicks have faced a ton of backlash after firing Tom Thibodeau in the days following their elimination from the Eastern Conference Finals. During the series, Thibodeau struggled to get the Knicks over the hump in a very winnable matchup against the Indiana Pacers.

Brunson has been named to the All Star team and earned second-team All-NBA honors in each of the last two seasons. Hart just completed perhaps the best season of his career with 13.6 points, 9.6 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game.

Josh Hart is no longer playing for Tom Thibodeau after the former New York Knicks head coach was fired last week, but Hart is still willing to go to bat for Thibodeau.
