East coast Florida anglers hoping to nab some delicious red snapper will have just two days in July to do it. Here's when.

Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced a record-breaking 126-day Gulf Red Snapper recreational season for 2025, the longest season since Florida assumed management of Gulf Red Snapper.

Atlantic red snapper fishing will open at 12:01 a.m. July 11 and close at 12:01 a.m. July 13, according to NOAA Fisheries.
