Liverpool have confirmed the arrival of Giovanni Leoni from Parma, though Friday night’s 4-2 win over Bournemouth may have highlighted the need to persist in a deal for Marc Guehi before the window closes.

Liverpool have reached an agreement with Parma to sign defender Giovanni Leoni. The Premier League club will pay a fee in the region of £26million (€30m) plus add-ons for the 18-year-old Italian youth international.
