Michigan man competent to face federal charges of stabbing sleeping parentsBAY CITY, MI — After nearly a year of treatment, an Isabella County man accused of stabbing his sleeping parents is psychologically well enough to face a federal trial.
Police are seeking to charge 42-year-old Bradford James Gille with terrorism and assault with intent to murder charges after he allegedly stabbed 11 people in a Michigan Walmart store.
Matthew Kolakowski was shopping with his daughter at a Michigan Walmart when he heard screams and saw a man with a knife.
"I'm still sitting and grappling with the weight of realizing that it was kind of a life-or-death moment," said Julia Martell, who witnessed the stabbing, which wounded 11 people.
