Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore was hit with a two-year show-cause order and three-game suspension as punishment for the program’s sign-stealing saga. In a list of penalties released on Friday, the NCAA’s Committee on Infractions agreed to accept Michigan’s offer for a two-game ban during the 2025 season.

Michigan was spared a postseason ban and vacating wins, including from the 2023 national title season when the investigation was launched that October.

The NCAA sanctioned the Wolverines with a $20-million fine and an additional one-game suspension for Sherrone Moore for the sign stealing scandal.
