After Beau Buckley's death, Harlan aimed to stay as far away from them as possible. However, when his choice was between Grady or the Parkers, Harlan went with the more predictable of these two evils.

Meanwhile, Harlan wakes up in a bed with a woman that's not his wife by his side and has a heart attack. Belle Buckley (Mario Bello) meets her husband at the hospital.

“Harlan is a Buckley through and through, but I think Belle has had to manipulate and control things while standing behind him and in his shadow,” series creator Kevin Williamson tells Variety.
