The Detroit Red Wings’ midseason transformation continued Friday when four different players scored goals and Patrick Kane assisted on three of them in a 5-3 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks at Little Caesars Arena.

The Wings overpowered Chicago (14-26-2), who owns the NHL's worst record, at times. The Wings outshot the Blackhawks, 28-15, including a 17-2 edge in the second period. With the victory, the Wings moved to within two points (44-42) of an Eastern Conference wildcard position.

Alex DeBrincat and Lucas Raymond each had a goal and an assist and the Detroit Red Wings won their sixth straight game, beating the Chicago Blackhawks 5-3 on Friday night.
