Raiders veteran Adam Butler had some thoughtful words for Christian Wilkins after his recent release. Butler, who played defensive tackle alongside Wilkins last season, went into an unexpected rant about the importance of mental health when asked about his former teammate while speaking to reporters on Tuesday.

The Las Vegas Raiders made the surprising decision to part ways with defensive tackle Christian Wilkins last week, and void the remaining $35.2 million of guaranteed money on the four-year, $110 million contract he signed last offseason.

Raiders coach Pete Carroll refused to comment on the reported human relations complaint that led to the team releasing $100 million defensive tackle Christian Wilkins.
