The Warriors medical has given Draymond green light to do some light on-court work, which is a great step since he fell to injury on Jan. 18.

But in this new trade idea, the Warriors get a little wild and drastically change their rotation. Golden State would move on from Draymond Green and bring in another All-Star-level player. The Warriors aren't likely to move Green but it's certainly interesting to think about.

On the same day that the club dealt for defenseman Scott Perunovich from the St. Louis Blues to help with depth, the New York Islanders placed defenseman Ryan Pulock and goaltender Marcus Hogberg on injured reserve on Monday due to upper-body injuries.

While it has been three years since Green was last named an All-Star, the 34-year-old forward remains a critical piece to Golden State's success. Owning an 18-16 record when Green plays this season, the Warriors are just 4-7 when he does not.

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green will miss at least a week with a strained left calf. The Warriors said an MRI determined that Green has only a minor strain and he will be re-evaluated in one week.
