The Ottawa Senators will be without defenceman Jake Sanderson for Thursday's game against the Boston Bruins. Sanderson will be replaced in the lineup by defenceman Donovan Sebrango. This will mark the first game of the season that the 22-year-old has missed. In 47 games this season, he has two goals, 23 assists and is a minus-17.
Sanderson (undisclosed) isn't expected to play Thursday versus Boston, per TSN 1200 Ottawa. Sanderson has two goals, 25 points, 27 hits and 102 blocks in 47 appearances in 2024-25. His absence will likely result in Donovan Sebrango drawing into the lineup and might lead to Tyler Kleven playing a bigger role.
Former Ottawa Senator Joonas Korppisalo pitched a shutout against his old team and the Bruins won 2-0 t the Garden.
