In the wake of SummerSlam weekend, Friday's episode of "WWE SmackDown" headed north to Montreal, Quebec, Canada, with visits from both John Cena and Cody Rhodes.

While Cena vs. Paul is set in stone, WWE heavily indicated that McIntyre will soon challenge undisputed WWE champion Cody Rhodes. SmackDown went off the air with McIntyre leaving Rhodes unconscious after clutching onto the champ's title.

John Cena and R-Truth had an interesting meeting on Friday’s SmackDown in Montreal. The two WWE veterans ended months of on-screen tension with a funny backstage reunion, just days after Cena’s SummerSlam loss to Cody Rhodes and a controversial post-match attack by Brock Lesnar.
