SHERMAN OAKS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A 2.3-magnitude earthquake was reported in the Sherman Oaks area Saturday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake's epicenter was near Johannesburg, which was hit with two earthquakes over a 3.0-magnitude Saturday morning. The area was hit with a 3.7- and 3.8-magnitude quake within hours of each other.
The powerful shaker and tsunami flooded a fishing port, cut power to a few areas and sent some panicked residents fleeing buildings but caused only a few injuries.
