The Lynx used gritty defense to cling to a two-point lead for what seemed like forever despite not making a field goal for over 8 minutes of game time in the fourth quarter. The Mystics were finally able to tie the game at 64 off of an offensive rebound put back with 32 seconds left. That is when disaster struck.

Shakira Austin scored 19 points and the Washington Mystics scored the last six points of the game to hand the Minnesota Lynx, without All-Star Napheesa Collier, their second loss, 68-64 on Tuesday night.

Washington played without leading scorer Brittney Sykes. The Lynx were without Napheesa Collier. The result was a tight game and a big win for the young Mystics.
