Disney has released the first trailer for director James Cameron’s third “Avatar” movie, titled “Avatar: Fire and Ash.” It’s scheduled to hit theaters on December 19, 2025, three years after “Avatar: The Way of Water.

With screenplay by Cameron, Rick Jaffa, and Amanda Silver and story crafted by Cameron, Jaffa, Silver, Josh Friedman, and Shane Salerno, the film features a star-studded ensemble including Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Oona Chaplin, Cliff Curtis, Britain Dalton, Trinity Bliss, Jack Champion, Bailey Bass, and Kate Winslet.
