The recalled products include 8-ounce Clover Valley Instant Coffee packages with certain lot numbers and best-by dates.

Certain jars of instant coffee are being pulled from Dollar General locations around the country after a customer reported the potential presence of glass.

The recall comes after a customer reported the issue to Dollar General employees; however, no illnesses or injuries have been reported in connection with the coffee. According to the recall notice, ingested glass could cause “damage to teeth, laceration of the mouth and throat, or perforation of the intestine.”
