Free-agent quarterback Aaron Rodgers said Thursday that there is no specific timeline in place for him to make a decision about his playing future. During an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show (h/t NFL Network's Tom Pelissero ), Rodgers said the following with regard to his talks with the Pittsburgh Steelers:

The Pittsburgh Steelers are still waiting on four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers to decide where he's going this offseason. One of their newest players believes the quarterback will end up in Pittsburgh and have success.

Rodgers said Thursday that he’s keeping his options open, including retirement, and he provided no timetable for making a decision.
