At least 10 people have died across the Los Angeles area in the wildfires. Officials have said the true death toll is not known as the fires continue to burn.

The Los Angles Police Department said "a male was heard stating a suspect was 'attempting to light a fire'" near the Kenneth Fire.

Investigators are considering an array of possible ignition sources for the huge fires that have killed at least 10 people and destroyed thousands of homes and businesses in the Los Angeles area

As several fires spread across Southern California, President-elect Donald Trump is pointing fingers, blaming policies from California Gov. Gavin Newsom and President Joe Biden for causing the outbreak.

Trump issued a fiery volley against Gov. Newsom, blaming him for the fires, and has said before that he'll cut wildfire funds to California.
