The European Union (EU) and Britain reached an agreement on the status of the overseas territory of Gibraltar on Wednesday which facilitates border crossings and ends years of political uncertainty.

The Rock’s government has sought such a deal for years — complaining that border crossings have become more onerous since the U.K. left the EU.

BRITISH nationals could be turned away from Gibraltar by EU border guards under a post-Brexit deal branded a sellout to Spain. Foreign Secretary David Lammy yesterday signed off on plans that will
