Four years after the release of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier — which saw Anthony Mackie ‘s Sam Wilson struggling with the title bestowed on him by Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers — the star says Marvel’s latest offering finds the character as “full-fledged Captain America .”

Three years after Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) officially took on the Captain America mantle in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, his first solo film, "Captain America: Brave New World," has finally arrived in theaters.

Mackie's slyly dogged Captain America has less superpower than his predecessor, and so does this movie. But it does wriggle out of superhero fatigue.
