Several inches of snow coated areas throughout Massachusetts from a storm Saturday night into Sunday. The storm also caused snow emergency parking bans to be instituted and churches to cancel their services.

Snow, sleet, ice and freezing rain walloped parts of New York this weekend, with up to another 5 to 10 inches of snow predicted in the coming days. High winds with gusts up to 50 mph and bitter cold temperatures with wind chills as low as 20 degrees below zero are expected through at least Tuesday night.
