Seattle's northbound I-5 faces full closure this weekend for infrastructure repairs, with heavy traffic expected from Friday night to Monday morning.

Worker foot traffic in downtown Seattle continues to show signs of improving, more than five years after the start of the pandemic, according to the latest figures released this week by the Downtown Seattle Association.

It took upward of 80 minutes to go south from Lynnwood to Seattle via Interstate 5 on Monday morning, according to real-time traffic estimates.

Motorcyclist critically injured in a collision with an impaired SUV driver in Seattle's Greenwood neighborhood.

Detectives say an investigation revealed a red Ford was traveling westbound on North 85th Street when it attempted a U-turn to head eastbound. As the SUV turned, the motorcyclist, who was traveling behind the SUV, changed lanes to pass and collided with the car.
