A jury found a man not guilty of organizing the daytime ambush killing of rapper Young Dolph at a Memphis bakery in November 2021.

Hernandez Govan said he's leaving Memphis after being acquitted in the Young Dolph case and mourning the death of his daughter, Lotta Cash Desto.

During the trial, the jury heard from Cornelius Smith Jr., who previously admitted that he and another man, identified as Justin Johnson, were the two shooters who ambushed Young Dolph. Johnson was convicted of first-degree murder in 2024.
