Thousands have gathered today near the Washington Monument, ostensibly for the Army’s 250th anniversary military parade, but the most enthusiastic had clearly shown up for another occasion: Trump’s 79th birthday.

Notably absent was Ivanka Trump. Eric could be spotted in the third row, next to his wife Lara, while Tiffany and Don Jr. appear off to the side. Barron Trump was also not seen on the parade stand. Weather warnings and the hundreds of thousands marching in “No Kings” protests nationwide did put something of a damper on the proceedings.

For its 250th birthday, the Army put on the largest show of military might in the capital in more than three decades.
