Tennessee softball will face No. 6 seed Texas in the semifinals of the Women's College World Series on June 2. The Lady Vols beat UCLA to advance.

Texas softball will play a familiar face Saturday when it takes the field in the College Softball World Series. The Longhorns (52-11) opened the tournament with a 3-0 win against Florida, thanks to first baseman Joley Mitchell's two home runs;

The Women's College World Series begins on Thursday, with Tennessee and Oklahoma facing off in the second game of the day. The winner of this first-round game will advance to face the winner of Texas versus Florida.
