The four-time Tour de France champion underlined his era-defining superiority again this summer - but where does he go next?

Tadej Pogačar is a Tour de France champion once again. The 26-year-old Slovenian star won his fourth Tour de France title on Sunday, completing the race in 76 hours and 32 seconds. Jonas Vingegaard finished in second place, four minutes and 24 seconds behind Pogačar. Florian Lipowitz finished in third place, 11 minutes back from Pogačar.

As Tadej Pogacar relaxed on the sands of Seychelles, the 2025 Tour de France route was revealed last October. So was, it turned out, a theme of the Slovenian's pursuit of a fourth Tour title: the ghosts of Pogi's past.
