LeBron James became the first player in NBA history with multiple 40-point games at age 40 or older, reaching his latest milestone in Thursday's win over the Blazers.

LeBron James scored 40 points for the second time since turning 40 and also grabbed eight rebounds while leading the Los Angeles Lakers to a 110-102 victory over the host Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday.

LeBron James has struggled to hit last-second shots throughout his Los Angeles Lakers tenure. According to ESPN's Get Up, James has shot 1-for-29 on go-ahead or game-tying field goal attempts within the final five seconds of the fourth quarter and overtime since joining the Lakers in 2018.
