LAS VEGAS ( KPHO / KVVU /Gray News) - A couple was shot and killed by a fellow YouTuber while livestreaming on the Las Vegas Strip, according to police. Rodney Finley, 44, went by “Finny Da Legend” and had over 6,000 subscribers. His wife was often in his videos with him.
Finny’s friend, Derek Ware, said Finny is more than a Youtuber. He was a son, a father, and a grandfather. “He’s a good father. He takes care of his kids,” Ware said. Ware described Finny as a big, friendly guy.
Manuel Ruiz and Finny Da Legend had a long-running rivalry that reportedly began over allegations of copyright infringement.
