Lake Mary's Little League Girls' Softball Team won the first round of the World Series Tournament with a 9-2 victory over the Northwest Regional Champions from Washington State.

“Yes — it’s the girls’ turn,” said Amelia Feller, another young player at the watch party. The Southeast Softball team continues its World Series journey this week, with Lake Mary fans watching every pitch.

The road to a championship started Sunday with the opening day of competition in the 2025 Little League Softball World Series in Greenville, North Carolina.
