Christian Gonzalez departed Monday’s Patriots practice after suffering what appeared to be an injury to his left leg. The incident happened during the first pass play of the team’s 11-on-11 period.

Gonzalez suffered the injury while covering wide receiver Stefon Diggs during the 11-on-11 portion of practice.

Patriots training camp kicked up a notch on Monday, as the team put pads on for the first time this summer. One player returned from an injury, while another left the field.
