Canucks Can't Beat Dustin Tokarski, Fall 2-0 To The Hurricanes
The Vancouver Canucks fell once again, this time losing 2-0 to the Carolina Hurricanes. Thatcher Demko stopped 18 of the 20 shots he faced, while Hurricanes Dustin Tokarski made 14 saves for his first NHL shutout since the 2021-22 season. With the loss, Vancouver falls to 18-13-10 on the season, while their road record drops to 11-5-4.
Tokarski makes 15 saves, Hurricanes shut out Canucks
RALEIGH, N.C. -- Dustin Tokarski made 15 saves for the Carolina Hurricanes in a 2-0 win against the Vancouver Canucks at Lenovo Center on Friday. The shutout was Tokarski's first in five starts with Carolina and the third of his career. The 35-year-old was signed by the Hurricanes on Dec. 2 after playing for Chicago of the American Hockey League.
