Meta’s next smart glasses might always be watching with a new AI that can track everything you do. That’s according to a leak from The Information (behind a paywall), which details two pairs of specs the company is working on, according to insiders.

Apple has “made progress” on a chip for potential smart glasses that would be competitors to the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, according to Bloomberg.

Apple is pushing forward the race to develop smart glasses. Now, they’re focused on the specialized chips that’ll power the new eyewear—and new Macs and AI servers. The company has in recent weeks apparently gotten fairly far along on these chips.
