Less than a year after making his Broadway debut in “Cabaret,” Adam Lambert is stepping into another musical next month, starring as Judas opposite Cynthia Erivo as Jesus in the Hollywood Bowl production of “Jesus Christ Superstar.

The singer will join Cynthia Erivo, Phillipa Soo, Raúl Esparza and other musical theater stars for three performances starting Friday (Aug. 1).

The ‘American Idol’ alum added that working alongside the two-time Oscar nominee in the musical “has been a dream.”
